So far this preseason, the Jets offense has looked down right abysmal with a few small exceptions. Sanchez looks much like the Sanchez of last years regular season, the offense can’t score a touchdown, Nick Folk can’t hit an extra point, and Revis is still no where to be seen. Jet nation is in chaos as fans everywhere are now doubting what once seemed a probable Super Bowl run. Well, I’m here to tell you something.
RELAX JETS FANS, its only the damn preseason. Yes, Sanchez is playing like garbage, but it’s not time to press the panic button. For those of you who need reminding, Mark Sanchez is a developing second year quarterback. He played terribly for most of last season, pulling it together in the playoffs. We as Jets fans need to remember, Sanchez isn’t Peyton Manning, at least not yet. He is growing and improving everyday and working hard to do so. The preseason is a time to work out the kinks in the system, and familiarize yourself with new teammates. Shottenheimer hasn’t cracked open the playbook during the preseason yet and really let Sanchez sling it.
It’s been painful to watch the Jets preseason performance so far, but what really matters is Monday Night vs the Ravens. That’s when poor performance is a cause for concern.

Thank GOD someone isn’t worried. I’m not either, later on in the day I’m going to go in depth with this, I guess to ease the worried green souls.
