So from now on, every Wednesday the Jersey Jets Fan is going to be doing a Who’s Hot and Who’s Not.. And for this week:
Who’s Hot: Vladimir Ducasse
Congratulations to big Vlad for being the Jersey Jets Fan’s first Who’s Hot on Wednesday. Ducasse has started off OTA’s with a bang, winning the starting left guard position in a short battle against Matt Slauson. Vlad received lots of praise from Rex at a recent press conference which bodes well for his future success.
“It’s great to watch him,” head coach Rex Ryan said. “He came to an ideal situation. He’s going to be sandwiched in between Nick Mangold and D’Brickashaw Ferguson. Oh, by the way, you’ve got the best coach in the league, too, with Bill Callahan sitting right there. I have a funny feeling that he’s going to be a terrific player for us, I really do.”
I’ll take Rex Ryan anyday as a good judge of character and skill on the field, so when he praises a player, I’m buying it. Keep doing what your doing Vlad, I’d love to see you develop into a stud.
Runners Up: Woody Johnson, Shonn Greene
Who’s Not: Jets Place kickers

This years potential goat(s), Nick Folk and Clint Stister. Both have been virtually missing every damn field goal attempt they’ve had in practice, to the point where Rex joked with the press and said “They were kicking with their other foot”. While the jokes funny, ruining a season because the Jets were too lazy to pay Jay Feely an extra $500k isn’t. Nick Folk is a kicker who’s lost all confidence in himself and Clint Stitser will be fucking lucky to make the team. The Jets better fix this situation quickly before the Nick Folk and Stitser become a permanent fixture in the Who’s Not category.
Runners Up: Kerry Rhodes
