Why the hell did the Jets pick this guy up? Nick Folk is a joke. I think we are really going to miss Jay Feely. He was pretty much automatic from inside of 40 yards, and a solid kicker from 40-50 yards. Now we have Nick Folk, who isn’t guaranteed to make a damn 20 yarder
I’m not just being a negative Nancy dwelling on the past here either folks (no pun intended). The Jets are in big trouble if their kickers play this season like they are practicing currently. This past week at OTA’s, the two Jet kickers, Nick Folk and Clint Stitser had quite the showing.
A consensus of reporters had Folk, the former Cowboy, at 2-for-5 from about 33 to 49 yards while Stitser was 1-for-4 from 33 to 41 yards.- Randy Lange
Absolutely pathetic. Are we sure Jay Feely really signed with the Cardinals? Can we PLEASE have him back, pretty please. I was expecting Sanchize to potentially be the weak link this season for the Jets. I see him maturing in the offense, but I still feel he has a lot of growth to do. But now I’m not worried about Sanchez, I’m worried about hitting a 29 yard field goal!
Some of you fellas may remember Clint Stitser. I wrote an article about the guy back on April 7th. He was the jackass that was a kicker at Fresno State from 2004-2007 where he hit 37-52 field goals and 112-118 PATs, but hasn’t played in two years. Well like the quote above said, at practice he was 1-4. But my man Rex Ryan is fed up with that bull shit and laid down the law at a recent OTA press conference.
“I think Nick’s going to be fine. The other kid’s got to make a couple there or we’ve got to find another kicker. … I think we’d all feel a lot better if they decided to make ‘em.”
#1. Happy trails Clint, I hope for your sake that you have a good college degree.
#2. Nick Folk is going to be the death of our season.
